    PS: Sorry i posted this late! Did not realize that I hadn't post it yet. Sorry D;

    My second week of news is here... I couldn't find my paper on the other news, so decided to do a new one. This piece of news was reported on June 15 (Yesterday).

    Many sick passengers who flew to Ho Chi Minh City in southern Vietnam took fever reducers to cheat temperature scanners at the airport, leading to the discovery of several infected cases later. Clinical investigations revealed that they had taken fever reducers. A series of these passengers took fever reducers three hours before arrival, that's why when they passed through the airport, the body temperature scanners skipped them. The country requires inbound passengers found with fever to be isolated for seven days, which leads them to do such things.

    Opinions :

    I think that this is very inconsiderate behaviour and shows their lack of responsibility. For their benefit, they had put everyone else that has physical contact with them into risk. The H1N1 pandemic is a serious case, but yet some people are taking this lightly! Viruses spread faster than you think, and so you have to take very careful precautions. They should consider, which is better : Being isolated for 7 days before released, but you and your friends won't fall sick and be in pain. Or, being free for an extra week and cause your friends and yourself to fall ill and be in much pain if it was H1N1. It is best for us to act on second thought and hesitation, rather than just going for whatever comes first into your mind that might be beneficial for you, but not to the others.

    My first week news is finally here.. This is not the news this week, I did this summary and opinions at, if i'm not wrong, the week before last week. Just hadn't posted it yet. So here it is. I couldn't find my second week opinions so I'm going to post this one first and find for the paper later. Well, here goes~

    Health Minister warns us to be prepared if Influenza A (H1N1) spreads here, as currently, there have been 15 cases of Influenza A and it is feared to have spread within the community. The numbers of the affected are still small, such as contact tracing is able to nail down every case. But once it spreads to the community, the Ministry of Health will have to change their strategy.

    Opinions :

    As a Citizen, we should be diligent in practising good hygiene and social responsibility. We have to take especially good care of ourselves in this period, and take note that we do not spread this disease to others when we are overseas. In my opinion, we should not be alarmed, but instead be as alert and vigilant as possible. If we are not feeling well, we should seek a doctor as soon as possible and try not to take public transport or go to any crowded areas. It is everyone's responsibility to prevent spread of the H1N1 virus, and I am confident our government will do their upmost effort to control this H1N1 situation.
